Anita Bohbot Reading & Signing
September 23 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Anita Bohbot’s memoir, “Rebel: Casablanca, WWII, and Hollywood,” documents her unconventional path to adulthood, growing up as Jewish woman in Casablanca during World War II.
“This is a story of a rebellious Jewish girl in 1940s Casablance, who breaks the rules of her society in pursuit of her own truth. Follow her journey as she finds love, loss, and adventure in unexpected places, from the beaches and souks of Morocco, through the wreckage and marvels of postwar Europe, and finally to Hollywood in the 1950s.”
